Seat cover loose!

Featured Replies

Hello, new member here, just aquired a light accident damaged 2010 1.4 petrol Tit to repair (and use not sell on!) and one thing I need to do is the passenger seat cover is loose down the bottom of the squab at the front where it meets the cushion, its a 3 door so I'm wondering if the seat has been tilted to access the back on a regular basis. I've tried searching and can't find any info on it so I'm guessing this isn't a common issue?

The other thing I've come to realise is that the spare parts seem to be very expensive compared a similarly damaged Honda Civic I repaired a couple of years ago, almost as if Honda had reduced the prices of parts often replaced needed in an accident repair, some of them e.g. headlight, front bumper are more or less 3 times the price, eek!!. Consequently, it's looking like this one wasn't such a bargain after all!

One other quick one while I'm introducing myself is the under engine floor pan seems to be missing but I've read that they don't have one as std, which seems a bit odd as I assumed all modern cars had them and it is the Titanium model after all?

Ah well, live and learn eh, hopefully the rest of the Fiesta ownership 'experience' will be ok?
