Focus 1.0 ecoboost edge standard stereo to sync

Featured Replies

Hi All

I have just purchased a very nice Ford focus 2013 mk3 1.0 ecoboost 100ps, its the basic spec edge model.

My dilema is the stereo is a bog standard non sync non bluetooth version. Would it be worth buying the screen, the facia with phone buttons, bluetooth module and the steering wheel phone buttons all from ebay.

Will i just be able to fit in my car or will there be wiring loom etc missing from behind the stereo being the lowest model, or is the correct wiring there unused so i can just fit the parts. Local ford dealers could not help as they had no clue. All i need to know is this possible or forget it.

thanks

all cables from the edge versions needed to run the sync system are already part of the loom, the required extra connectors are hidden behind the stereo button panel. Just bought a 2013 full sync setup so will let you all know if i can switch out without any problems.
