hi guys

i was thinking about changing the footwell and overhead lights, i know how and what colour i want, but i have the standard red in the cup holders, i had the idea of changing this to the same colour but have no clue how to access this or what bulbs etc that is required, also with the center console i have blue lit buttons and was thinking about changing this but dont know how.

any help would be appreciated thanks

You have to De & resolder the LEDs in the ambient lighting

I guessing thats for both cup holder and the buttons, thanks as i will now have to go buy a soldering iron hahaha is there any specific LED's that i will need to get or just a standard one from halfords

Rather than changing all the bulbs could you just wipe Acetone (nail varnish remover) on the bulbs to remove the colour then bush on nail varnish to get the colour you want?

Depends if the LEDs are clear with different stuff inside for a colour, or if they're LEDs with a coloured film

yh ill have to have a look into what to get, i'm not too experienced in interior removal is it just clip on panels or is there screws to take the center console out to get to the cup holders and radio panel. sorry to be a pain haha.
