All im getting is cannot find the drivers.. the devices red led is lit amd its showing up in device manager with the yellow symbol so I know the device itself os ok. Ive been reading on net but all links I find are old and not working could anyone tell me where I can get the drivers from?

If it needs drivers, it should have been supplied with it. In fact the F Super hardware does very little, it is just an interface or gateway, it is software on the computer that does all the work. Was there a CD?

If not, contact the supplier, via the Ebay system. I would say it is not as described, and they will have to refund or supply the needed CD. You have quite a lot of protection on Ebay.

Hello peter thank you for taking the time to reply to my question regarding this; yes I have a mini cd with it looks like its a copy as its a blank disk theres a few files and one .exe rest are read only system files and there is a very small app that asks what port should be opened but that didn't work either. Im extremely frustrated at this even took two extra days to get to me eventhough I paid for next day delivery.

Could you or anybody else recomend one from ebay? This seemed legit to me but seems ive been done

Thanks again

Looks like the CD they supplied is not 64bit, or not Windows 7, or just Not!

My recommendation for a diagnostic system has always been Forscan. It is a free (wiki type) enterprise, so only the ELM327 adapter has to be purchased. I am pretty sure this system is the most powerful & complete system for Fords apart from the Ford IDS system, which is not practically available on a diy basis.

Forscan for windows seems to be 64bit compatible. Often the ELM (with USB interface) does not need a driver, it can use one built in to Windows. But you could email the ELM supplier first.

If you want to go this route:

Forscan is a powerful Ford specific system. Cost £15.00 for the interface. Needs a computer of some sort. (COM port, USB, Bluetooth or WiFi interfaces available).

You will find a lot about ELM327 & Forscan on this site, which together provide a very comprehensive diagnosis & maintenance tool.

James (jeebowhite) has done a nice guide: http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=21196

For an ELM327 adapter, see

you will also need a program called Forscan, its free and you can get it from
