one guy is selling used eibach 35mm drop springs should I look out for something or should they be fine ?? He asking for £30+£10 postage.

    It's worth checking they are actually the model you need for your car, and that there is no obvious broken ends, rust or deformed coils.

    Just buy then new, then you know that they are still ok - although I think Eibach springs are black? Are they for the correct model etc?

    Sod buying second hand springs! You'll never know how much hammer they have had in the past.

    APEX springs are yellow by the way!

    Eibach springs are black and they have different spring rates depending on the petrol or diesel/ST types owing to the weight differences.

    Looks like they could be Mountune looking at the spring windings, however they are only listing the mk7 ST versions at the moment, I wouldn't ever want to buy used springs especially not knowing what the spring rate is.
