Hi any suggestions. My 2013 fiesta has had a service and MOT it now displays engine malfunction and occasionally when I drive 20miles an hour feels sluggish as if the petrol isn't getting through when I come to slow down and stop the brakes fail. 

 

If it was serviced by Ford then I'd take it back to them.

If not, you need to get a diagnostic reader on it to read the codes causing the warning light.

H thanks for your reply , yeah I called ford and its £84 just for them to look at it. I didn't know may be it could just be something simple before it starts to get costly, as it just occasionally happens not constant. 

If it has only been serviced and MOT'd by Ford, I'd demand them to look at it for nothing. Might have been something they did (or didn't do).

Especially if it is first MOT, only just outside warranty.

I agree, I'd get them to look at it for nothing if the problems started just after they had the car with them.

Thank you,my friend has had the computer on it and no fault showed up but he re set the codes and this seems to have done the trick so far. So hopefully it will be ok otherwise it will have to go back to Ford, typical its warranty ended June.
