Hello to all,

i´m Sebastian from Germany and i wanna ask you for some help.

I retrofit my Fiesta MK7 with all the staff for Bluetooth. ( Bluetooth Modul with USB Support 8M5T-19C112-BT, USB Port with cable to the middleconsole, the Multifunction display, Voice Stick, Cable Loom for the Bluetooth Modul, Mic. 10 Key Pad for the Radio).

Now my Ford dealer has some problems to activate the USB . The Telefone is working very well via Bluetooth.

When i put some USB Stick to the port it shown all the music. Wenn i select a file, the radio did´t paly the file and the menu is setting back to AUX.

After 1h. my dealer give up and told me the module is not compatible.

Can someone give me a tip / help with the settings?

Btw. the voice Control is also not working.

I read in some other forum, that the display need a firmware update in some other the radio unit need´s a update.

Witch setting my Ford garage has to do ?

There's some parameters in the car config (CCC) that need set via IDS. I'll check my notes when I'm next at my laptop

·         Update display (FDIM), audio (ACM) via IDS if required   

·         Get car-config    

·         Change USB Accessory Unit (byte 154) to With USB Unit and iPod function (04)

·         Bluetooth Handsfree (byte 157) to BT/VC Phone Interface + USB connect (05)

·         Upload car config back to car

IDS Toolbox - > Module Programming

 “Module Programming > Programmable Parameters > Car Configuration Parameter(s) under Vehicle configuration

-Retrieve the vehicle configuration data
-View the vehicle configuration data
-Modify and reinstate the vehicle data
-Retrieve FordEtis derived ASBUILT data
-Configure vehicle with back-up data”
