Ford Sync/Bluetooth in Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am picking up my Fiesta Titanium X tomorrow and I had a question about the Bluetooth functionality.

Are you able to use the system to stream music from your phone, but not use the phone/text message functionality?  I really don't like taking calls and texts for all in the car to hear and see!

I have a USB stick that I can use, but from memory, the USB port isn't really in a great place in that it's by the gear lever in a tray type area where you'd normally throw bits and bobs?  I'd be paranoid about damaging or snapping the port/stick!  My Corsa just has an aux slot and my previous FIAT had the USB port in the glove box which was a lot better for me.  I hope to be able to take some music with me when I get the car tomorrow, as I will be going for the obligatory long drive!

Thanks :)

Get a Sandisk Ultra Fit flash drive or something similar for your paranoia. As for Bluetooth, you'd have to take a call or ask the system to read out messages, it does not happen automatically (if you do not activate auto-answer, if that is an option in the Fiesta).

Selecting music on the flash drive is much easier vs. Bluetooth streaming, where you can only skip track (or have to operate your phone).
