Fiesta MK7 zetec s A/C

Featured Replies

Hi all

Im looking for a bit of advice, I had my A/C regassed earlier in the year, and the pipe, I can't remember what it was called replaced also as this had a leak.

However I've come to use the A/C in this rare hot weather we have in the UK, however unless I'm driving at between 2,500 & 3,000 rpm the A/C isn't cool. If the engine is idling then it's warm air.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Ive had an engineer out today, unfortunately he could just tell me there were no leaks and well this is a fault he hadn't seen before and took a stab at it being the compressor bit reluctant to go spending £500 without knowing it is the fault, plus as it works if the car is driven in a particular way.

Of anyone could help it would be appreciated.
