hi, what's the oil and filter change interval on a 2015 mondeo, is it at 18.000 miles, i like to change the oil regular on cars i have had, and would like to continue on my new mondeo, going to get ford to do it, till my warranty runs out, then i will do it myself, any advise appreciated.

18k is the interval

thanks, cars in now getting done, and some recall module update to do with the head lights, i'd never wait 2 years to change oil in a car, how easy is it to change on a mark 5 ? anyone ever done it yet.

Easy enough, once youve got undertray off. But word of warning, the oil filter needs tightening correctly or they leak. And use correct grade of oil.

Recalls are a good enough reason to get garage to do extra oil and filter change if thats what you want.

2 years or 18k is fine with todays engine oil. Transit go 30k.

Also worth noting is the Dealer oil change service is nearly as cheap as doing it yourself, well it is a my Dealer, cheaper than my local Independants too

dealer charged 90.00 so not too bad, told us he will start discounting us when return on a regular basis, which we will be doing, it's a good ford garage, polite, friendly and honest and treat you really nice, car's too new for me to want maintaining it, did it all on my old mondeo, now i just want to put my feet up and relax and enjoy it.

they even gave us a courtesy car for a couple of hours to save us waiting around, a good garage, which makes a change.

What motor gives an 18,000 mile oil change interval?  In the US, it is 7500 miles for gasoline and 10,000 miles for hybrids.
