What type of black should I de-chrome with?

I have a 14 plate Ford Fiesta and want to de chrome the strip just below the windows on both sides black but my options are gloss black (which I think won't match the rest of the black plastic door trim surrounding the windows) satin black which I think looks to light or matte black which is obviously much darker and not really shiney. I'm leaning towards matte black but would love to know what you guys think! Basically I just want it to match the rest of the black plastic door trim!!! 👍🏻IMG_1552.JPGIMG_1552.JPG

    Actually no, back then I got my 850 rust-bucket mini to look like a rust-bucket (but with an 1100 block and 1300 box) and pull away from the lights like a bat out of hell :laugh:

    Haha! I just feel now the rest of the car is black the chrome looks odd. I had no problems about the de chrome until they asked me what type of black!! That stumped me...

    Gloss/piano black.  Matt black parts always look like you've bought a can of poundland paint imo... :laugh: 

    Personally I like chrome accents but I know most don't lol.

    I do like the chrome! Just looks weird or at least a bit odd I think so gloss black it is!  Cheers guys!
