Problems with sync and Bluetooth pairing

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Please please can you help with this very frustrating problem.

I have a 2014 Focus and am trying to pair my android phone to the sync system. When I try it says to search for sync and connect by entering the provided code but when i do this my phone gives me a code as well so both are giving a different code with no where on either to enter one so they can't pair.

Any help would be very gratefully appreciated.

Thanks

G

You need to do both actions almost simultaneously for it to sync. Sorry if you are doing this, but I have found if I leave a short gap of time it does show different codes.

Thanks for the tip but I've tried it and they still give different codes.

When I bought the car I had a different phone and it had screen to enter the cars code. No idea why my new phone only wants to give a code.

Very frustrating but thanks anyway for trying to help.
