ford focus air bag light On!

Featured Replies

Hi guys, looking to sell my focus and buy a van. It's a focus ink 1.6 53 plate. The !Removed! air bag light flashes a few times on ignition then stays on. Looked at a few vids and threads online for a fix but they seem to be for other models or just no help.

Anyone had this problem before? Any help would be great!

Other sources have pointed to a connection under the drivers seat? However the connector under my seat looks different to the ones in videos and they seem to be under the plastic panel on the side rather than attached to the bottom of the seat near the slide lever like mine.

electrical contact cleaner in the connections both under the seat, and also in the central module (I believe this is under the centre console?)
