Battery Need Replacing?

Featured Replies

After a few issues with my car I get 12.02v on my multi-reader.  Some graphics that matter has 25% left, some say 50% and some say 70%.  At 12.02v do I need to look for a new battery?

at 12.02, if that is the standing charge, I would say its age dependant.

If the battery is 12.02 when the engine is running, you have more of a problem.

I believe 12.8 volts is considered fully charged, 11.8 or less is considered "flat" which is why I recommend going by age, if its old, and low, change it, or at least, consider where you can get one if it breaks down. I dont think you have anything to worry about right now though!
