Focus TDCI 2009

Featured Replies

Hi! I have a Focus mk2 TDCI estate from 2009. But suddenly it started to act a bit peculiar. Wipers may start by themselves and dashboardlights regarding park break an traction control lights up. Can anyone give me a clue to what may trigger this?

Also the engine has started to die when RPM reaches approximately 3000 when accelarating. It starts however immediately again when I turn the key.

I would very much appreciate any tips as to how to deal with these issues.

sounds like an electrical fault for sure.

Wipers could be shorting, but the traction and brake lights, could indicate there is a fault elsewhere, possibly a bad sensor in the breaking system.
