Miss firing issues

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 2009 focus 1.6 tdci dpf. I'm having issues with it like its Miss firing. It doesn't do it every time I drive probably 7/10 times I drive it does do it. It feels like its Miss firing and makes the car jump and jerk but only for a few seconds. It only does it when going slower speeds such as 30mph in 3rd or 4th gears. It also can jump occasionally when lifting off the throttle at slower speeds. Like I said it doesn't do this all the time and the rest of the time the car runs smooth with no loss of power or anything which is why I don't know what it is. It seems to be more common between 1300-1700 rpm.

If anybody has any ideas of what it's might be or has had this before help would be much appreciated!

Thanks
