Best place for remote power on connection

Featured Replies

Hi all. I've had my Rockford amp and Infinity speakers fitted as well as my alpine sub. I've noticed however that when I get to my car and open it (keyless entry) I hear a thuddy popping sound coming from my speakers. I'm thinking the remote power is taken from somewhere not quite right.

Where is the best place to get the remote power from?

Car is the mk4.5 facelift mondeo titanium x sport with the NX headunit. Thanks in advance.

It's now sorted. No need for any circuits to be made. A feed was found under the glove box. No more popping speakers.

There is however a high level convertor available that within it has a remote power feed when it senses the radio being turned on.
