Ford Fiesta camshaft swap

Featured Replies

I'm wounding if anyone can help with a camshaft swap. My little brother has a Ford Fiesta lx 2004 mk6 and I have a mk6 Ford Fiesta st witch is off the road due to having a new car and I wanted to give it him but he can't get insurance for under 400 grand, so I'm going to give it him has a parts car and he wanted to know if the camshaft would fit and if so what will he need to do to get it running right?

To be honest, the cost of taking the camshaft and rebuilding the engine will cost more than the car is worth, it would probably be a better idea to just do an engine transplant, that said, I presume you meant £400 which is an excellent price for insurance by any standards, I would personally prefer to drive the ST than the LX, breaking the LX is the better option.
