Hi all, I know this is a bit of a weird question but for a college project/assignment to explore the possibility of modifying or cars to use VVT. So here's the question is it possible to adapt/modify a 51 plate ford focus 1.6 16V zetec-se engine to use VVT or VCT, if it is possible can you guys please leave a link to a guide on how to(pictures as well if there is). Thanks in advance as this is very much appreciated.

    Think you could fit any engine and gear box as long as you take the wireing loom and ecu for same engine.

    You would need new head/cams, plus a ECU to run it, as it has an hydraulic valve controlled by ECU to operate the VCT... however not entirely sure that the new VCT 1600s are anything like the older 16v 1600s, gota feeling they may even be french like the diesels, but someone PLEASE correct me on that!

    The puma has nice VCT, easy engine change too, believe the box may fit.
