i have a mk2 focus titanium with the ford/fx audio system with sat nav which has died,which is the best way to go?either get this repaired or try to find a replacement,i have had a look for a direct replacement which is not really an option due to the only one i could find had a price tag of 400quid second hand and im not paying that,so i need a replacement that works with the car so any ideas would be very helpful.

Aftermarket is way more advanced compared to stock, particularly Pioneer double din range with integrated Parrott bluetooth systems and car play, enabling you to send and recieve text messages using your voice. 

you can sell the existing unit for parts or repair on ebay along with other parts.
