Sykes Pickavant Ford Timing Service Tool Kit - Part Number?

Featured Replies

What is the actual part number for the Sykes Pickavant Ford Timing Service Tool Kit for the KKDA engine?

Some of tool shop websites I've looked at, seem to only list the suitably by engine size, engine type, or even car model:  which is not in slightest sense, helpful:rolleyes:

Some are saying it is part number 077520V2, whilst others claim it is part number 07752200, and others still part number 07702000:unsure:

To be honest, none of those kits look correct going by whats in my autodata book anyway.  07752700  is probably the closest which contains the first 3 parts of the following list.

You should have Flywheel locking tool (303-393), camshaft setting bar (303-376), crankshaft timing pin (303-193), camshaft sprocket puller (303-651), camshaft sprocket holding tool (205-072).

This kit below contains 3 of those part numbers but I can't seem to find any kit with ford tool 303-651, only 303-652. However you can buy a puller tool the same as the ford tool. 303-652 comes up as an oil pump aligner

As for the sprocket holding tool, a universal type one will do.

Personally I wouldn't be wasting the money on a Sykes kit, I'd be surprised if its made by them anyway.
