Took delivery of my 66 mondeo today. was trying to get Spotify to work via the mobile app button on the infotainment console. I have a Samsung s7 and it pairs to the car no problem and playsee music via Bluetooth fine. however when I press the mobile app button it says no app could be found. 

I made sure the mobile apps button in the settings was on and all permissions looked OK.  but still no joy. I can use spotify when I use android auto but prefer the look of the sync system over the android auto. any ideas would be great thanks
