Hi all, new member and ford owner;

The car came with sat nav, dealer said the maps are on an sd card and you can get updates from eBay for half the cost

The card in it is the f4 version and checking eBay you can get the f5 version

Now here's my point.....my home address (it's a nearly new development) doesn't appear on the f4 and its supposed to be the last version, however my tom tom with lifetime updates has had it for years!  Reading through various forums etc ford use tom tom maps.

How up to date are the maps? 

Do tom tom supply most recent maps?

Is there going to be an f6 update this year?'

Are they a factory or dealer fit?  My Zetec Nav is en route from Vlissingen as I type and is an early Feb build so curious as to whether it will have last years maps installed.
