Hi all,

I have a 1998 Escort 1.6Si and both my front seats seem loos on the runners

The car has only done 80K and the seats seem fine in themselves no real wear and tear on the fabric.

i have taken out the passenger seat and all 4 bolts holding them to the floor were well tight its just that the runners seem loose up and down movement, I could not see that anything was particularly loose and could not see how the runners/sliders bolt onto the actual seat frame.

Am I missing something & is there a way of getting this slack taken out as it is really annoying when getting in and out of the car, The drivers seat seems the same but only on one side.

Any help would be very much appreciated,
