Snapped part of my wheel

Featured Replies

Hi! I've recently got my first car so I'm pretty clueless right now as to what goes where ect. I have a 1.4 Ford Fiesta zetec climate 2008, and I hit a pretty devastating corner of a low wall and I've blew my tyre out. I tried to change the wheel (one of the few things I know how to do) and my wheel started to invert, after looking at it I noticed a bar underneath which I've been told may be the steering axle has split in two, but I'm still concerned as to what other damage it could have caused and/or what has actually happened, and roughly how much it would cost to repair, does anybody know what this part is? I've got 2 pictures one with and without flash

thanks in advanced!:)

Quite the pot hole you hit damn, I've found this on eBay message the seller to be sure it will fit first, you might have to get a mechanic or get yourself a Haynes manual to install it yourself if you want to save a bit of money, check YouTube too.
