Trying to identify part fallen off!

Featured Replies

Hi. I found the following part in the engine bay of my missus's 2007 1.8 diesel smax and I can't work out where it's from! One end is a connector and the other is a ribbon which appears to have electrical contacts inside and looks as though it's been torn off or something. Cheers for any help! The car still works.

That looks suspiciously like a heated windscreen connection to me.

agree, screen ribbon.

Many thanks that would make sense as she had the windscreen changed not so long ago and they must have left the old one in. Panic over cheers.
