Are the callipers on the mk3 ST bigger than the Zetas s?

What type of engine does your car have?

The front ST brakes can be retrofitted to every Focus MK3/MK3.5. To do this you need the following parts:

* Left front brake caliper.

* Right front brake caliper.

* 2x splash shield.

* 2x brake caliper bracket.

* 2x 320 mm brake disc.

Wouldn't a good set of pads, rotors, and quality fluid(?) be a better option?

I'm actually quite curious about this.

Yes you could try green stuff  pads all round I find them very good on just standard ST breaks ( as I have a MK2 ST) and they have to stop  in my case 340 BHP at times. There are other colours too these are for depending ,track or other fast road applications, but green is probably the best choice for fast /normal road use. If you change your brake calipers these pads will give even better breaking. Of course there are other manufactures like Mintex you could use and are available

Nice.

Could mk2 ST calipers fit a standard mk2 2.0 TDCI?

TBH I personally am not sure but looking at JW1982's post it seams that they can with the additional parts he has listed as the disk  size and other bits them selves probably will be slightly different  size as he said. My suggestion with the pads you could just fit them to your standard breaks for better breaking over standard pads or to a set of ST calipers  (if you fit them) for even better breaking. Just a suggestion that may be a good scrap yard may have all the parts (except pads) you need in one go. The only thing to check would be that the new disks fit  into your wheel size as they may be a bit bigger than your OEM ones.
