Front (wide view) camera

Featured Replies

Morning all. I'm nearly a Ford Edge owner after ordering a new (2016.25 model) from my local ford dealer (a good cost saving on a 2017 model). After the car landed at the dealership from storage they then advised me it was Sync 2 & not Sync 3, slightly disappointed after it was advertised as Sync 3 but I can live with Sync 2. However, as I gave the vehicle the once over I noticed the front camera was not selecting the actual wide (180 degree split screen) view when pressing the front camera button (it just selects the main front view when pressed both once & twice). The problem appears to have the workshop baffled & they are no nearer getting a fix for it  - I think the attempted fixes to date involve just plugging in computer software updates). So I am still waiting to finally pick up the car. A long shot but has anyone else had a similar front camera fault on their Edge & if so what was the fix?

Thanks

OK all sorted - a ford "specialist" came up north to Lancashire with his big bag of tricks & plugged it in & fixed a software glitch which solved the problem so I now pick up the car Saturday
