Can you run a hoover off the rear 3 pin socket?

Just a quick question. I want to hoover the car out with a Dyson. Is it safe to put something like that into the socket in the rear of the arm rest?

    I'd be inclined to say no.  Not unless your inverter has a very high wattage (continuous - not peak)

    Inverters are also very heavy on batteries - obviously the bigger it is, the bigger the drain

    Ok thanks I was planning to have the car running while i hoovered but will just find somewhere to plug in to be safe.

    It's rated at 150 watts, so not much use for anything really! I think it's intended for a laptop charger.
