replacement of steering rack

Featured Replies

Hi

I own Ford Fiesta Edge (2011). Bought car last December and already facing some probems. Feel that there is some lose part and there is a bit noise when making turn. Brought it to garage and front shock top mounts wererepaced. However i still face the same problem. I was infored by mechanic that i would need to replace steering rack. He mentioned after replacing it i wouldnt face any problem. My question is how do i know that i need replacement of steering rack? What are the signs that can help me identify that is the problem? Please help.

Thankful in advance

Dina

If you're within 6 months of purchase from a trader/dealer, take it back and have them fix it.
