Head Unit Code + Accept Issue

Featured Replies

Hi, my head unit appears to be playing up...Ford Focus 2008, standard head unit, 6000

Started car this morning, and it requested the stereo code, had the car 2 years and its always remembered and had no isues, anyways, i typed in the correct code and pressed 5 to confirm, it worked. But now each time i turned the car off, it wouldn't remember the code so keeps requesting it. Each time the code and 5 worked.

But, now several hours later when i enter the code and press 5, the button 5 is now turning it off rather than accepting and letting me continue. If i was to enter an incorrect code, and press 5, it tells me it's incorrect.

Any suggestions? Im very confused.

Thanks

I'd guess the permanent live fuse has blown so settings are not backed up not sure if it's inline behind the radio or in the fuse box tho ?

Worth a look
