Rear quarter glass removal

Featured Replies

Quick question, the rear quart glass on my mk2.5 is showing signs of mould behind the seal. How do you remove the glass so i can clean it? Ive hesrd its screwed in place and other ppl told me its bonded in and the seal needs to come out that sits between it and the rear door.

Any help?

So no one knows?

These windows are bonded and (like the windscreen) are part of the structural strength of the bodywork. Removing these windows without damage to the windows or window frame/bodywork is very difficult. If you want to remove these windows you should calculate the cost of a pair of new windows and a specialist to install them correctly.
