Sorry I'm sort of confused on what type of sat-nav map card I need to update my cars maps.

My mk3 2014 focus came with this card that I've attached,

 

Am I right in thinking I need a new F type card?

    You need a V card. The latest availabe (2017) card is V7.

    The F cards are only suitable for the newer SYNC 2.0 system. Your system is the older Ford MFD system.
