Boot linings not properly fitted

I just bought a second hand 2010 focus estate 1.8 Zetec. The lining of the boot is not fitted properly on the near side wall. ie between the back side window and the floor of the boot. I mean the stuff that looks like carpet and lines the sides of the boot. Where it goes beneath the plastic trim that adjoins the side back window it is not fitted properly. I cannot work out how to do it. Can anyone please help? Thanks
