Mk2 Focus Zetec climate 1.8 petrol!

Featured Replies

I have a mk2 Focus zetec climate 1.8 petrol, I have recently last month replaced my wishbones, breaks and had some new wheels on there! I have done about 700 miles since and there is a very wierd knocking/creeking sound coming from the front wheels(I think)! Any advise on what it may be would be much appreciated! Thanks!!

Sounds like it could be your wishbone bushes try spraying the bushes with silicone spray to see if this helps.  Had a similar noise on my 2010 Focus 1.8 petrol this helped mine lots. The noise seems to have disappeared on mine so I am assuming the bush is well lubed now.  If I was going to replace the wishbone on mine I would get some silicone grease and lube the bushes before fitting them to the car.
