Roof bars for 2017 Edge Sport with pano roof

The 2017 Edge Sport with panonroof doesn't have any roof rails so are there any options for fitting roof bars or am I out of luck?

    I had a old set of generIc roof bars that I thought would fit but they don't. The ones that hook over the roof edges won't work because the metal work slopes down so the hooks can't grip. God knows why they didn't keep the roof rails with the pan roof

    Was told by dealer that if you had the panoramic roof you could not get roof bars as there was not enough space left on the rest of the roof to support the weight.

    Well for one it looks better. Maybe it would have made the pano roof narrower if it had bars also.

    Nothing to do with being a Sport, it's because of the pan roof.

    I'm considering trying these out as have the panaromic roof too. Wouldn't put too much weight in there though to ensure the glass stays safe

    I had similar looking roofbars on my old Mondeo estate, which didn't have roof rails. On the Mondeo there were screw holes onside the door opening which held the bar firmly in place. Worked really well!

    im not sure if the fitting is the same on the Edge, though...
