Wipers colliding

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Few of my friends are members of this forum and suggested i should join/post a question.

We have a 61 plate focus titanium and it just had a new windscreen installed along with new wipers and when you turn car on the wipers automatically do one cycle(auto wipers are switched off) and they both cross/hit each other.

Anyone else had this problem or suggest how to resolve it?

Many thanks

Chris

hi chris, the wipers are independant and have been refitted with ign off.
what you need to do is remove the wipers, then switch ign on, switch wipers on briefly then off and let them park fully, leave ign on and fit the wipers in there normal park position with the passenger wiper below the drivers wiper. that should have them in the right position to work
