guyster1973uk
Hi guys I own a 2007 Ford Focus zetec climate and I noticed last night the headlights were aiming very high the lights are meant to go down up and back down again when u switch them on but they stayed up so I took it to a garage who told me that the headlight auto level sensor has failed and would cost £240 fitted to replace . anyone got any ideas where I can get one cheap and used ? Commencal24
Have you checked on eBay? Or any breakers near you/online?

isetta
do you need them? is there a way that you can adjust them back down to correct level and get them to just stay there and not move? Or is it all more difficult than that
guyster1973uk
Tango it's one sensor on the front . I checked. And the sensor has become brittle with old age cracked and finally broken

TangoDaz
The only trouble is that your main beam will now be a bit low but not to worry if trading for a new car 😊
guyster1973uk
Well I took it to a garage who checked it free of charge and they said the lights are dead level. The car is needing new pads and discs all round so along with sensor it's gonna cost more to fix than the cars worth as I was quoted 204 just for the sensor
