Naeem123 Posted May 4, 2017 Share Posted May 4, 2017 I've had this problem for about a year now. My focus makes a revving noise but the revs don't move up and down. However sometimes the revs do bounce. It sounds like its coming from the air box. It doesn't affect the car in anyway except when idle. Soon as you press the throttle it goes for a bit. Spark plugs, coil and ht leads have been changed. oil, filter and air filter have been changed and also the control valve has been cleaned. The video below is exactly what happens.
