hi guys. I bought a 2006 1.8 mondeo. the guy told me. key needs battery.  I have changed he battery in both keys. I have done the. 4 click reprogram. and nothing is happening,     the doors will lock with the key  but when I open them. if I don't start the engine in 10 secs. the alarm. goes off.

does anyone have any idea. what might be wrong.  thanks

    Could be microswitches in the buttons.
    Most places that cut car keys should have the ability to check if the keys are transmitting when the buttons are pressed.
