Can I install Sat nav on 16 plate focus?

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I have purchased a 16 plate focus titanium and it doesn't have Satnav (was told Ford stopped making titanium navigators as standard and when bought new satnav was an extra) My 64 plate had it and it was a godsend!!!

I have the SD slot in the arm rest and the screen is touch screen.

Please could I have advice on if this can be installed/fitted. Ford garage said no, but I'm dubious!

Please treat me with kiddy gloves. I've no technical experience and haven't got a clue about things like this.

Thank you for any help!

It's totally possible as long as it's the sync2 radio system
I've done it myself.
You need a nav licence and access to a laptop & a modified elm data cable.
A member called Bannko can provide all the information you need-
