Clunk on full left lock

Featured Replies

I have a clunk noise when I do a full lock to the left only. I thought it would of been sorted with the new control arms recently installed. Do you think it could be the sway bar link?

45 views and nobody really?

Does it only do it when you reach full left? If you attempt to turn the wheel when stationary (engine off) does it do it also? If you are turning on fuill lock does it repeatedly click?

I would be checking that the tie rod end nut is secure, the locking nut for the tie rod end is secure, and that there isn't any free play in the tie rod end. If it clicks repeatedly whilst turning on full lock the possibility of it being the CV joint (give everything in the wheel well a good going over, making sure there are no broken boots, no abnormal free play in anything, check the spring is intact, etc).

Thanks it's only a clunk whilst reaching full lock not a constant so will check the ends
