Roll top type glovebox(Ford KA 2004 model)

Hi,

The catch on my daughter's roll top type glovebox lid has snapped off and it stays open all the time.  A small piece of the plastic on the lid has snapped off and therefore does not click into place to close.

Any cheap quick fix ideas ?

    A common problem, I believe. My wifes Streetka has the same problem and I've looked at a number of fixes none of which work long term.

    I've picked up a working one from a breaker and will set about replacing it soon.
