Hi, just interested in what people have been charged by Ford Dealers, workshop hourly rates, etc?

Am expecting a big bill for some work on my car and wanted to know if my dealer is taking the michael or not with his costs?

    i'd say around £60 per hour labour for most dealers / franchises.

    prob more for BMW who really like to spank ya lol

    can remember a pal paying 600 notes for a basic service and new front discs on his recently acquired 5 series.

    his eyes watered and  nearly choked at the BMW customer service desk  :-D

    £60!!! cant remember the last garage i worked that charged that amount, last 2 garages were £90 and £95 , both plus vat. and they were small ford dealer and vauxhall dealer.

    alot depends on competition and north , mids or south of uk
