Sampson
Hi guys. I Had a low speed rear impact today, Van driver couldn't slow down in time as we came to a stop on a steep downward hill. Completely his fault. This is my first accident and felt like the rear should have been in pieces but thankful only a little damage. There are two clear impact points from his number plate screws and there's a light crack along a seam line near the boot hatch. How much do people think this would cost to repair? I'm speaking to the fleet manager tomorrow as it was a company van that hit me.
Commencal24
Are you thinking of getting them go pay and yourself to sort the repair or leaving everything up to the company? I think you'll be looking around £200 for a brand new bumper, unless you can find one at a breakers.
Sampson
Id personally prefer to not go through insurance, so just wanted a rough idea of how much a garage would chsrge for a complete new bumper and labor.
