Looking too buy a ford focus 1. 8 zetec 10 plate went to view car had to be jump started been sat a while eml light was on and he trying to say its because batt was dead is this plausible?

    the fact it has been Sat a while can bring up lots of issued   as stated leave well alone

    If you do have the car get as much driving done as possible whilst you're still in your warranty,that way if anything goes wrong they've got to put it right

    If the car is diesel he could have unplugged the egr sensor cost it was cloged up maybe
