Annoying ringing noise.

Featured Replies

Recently downsized my Mondeo titanium x to a 2013 Focus titanium.

Very pleased as the car as it is like new with just over 4000 miles on the clock.

The only thing that concerns me is what can only be described as a fairly quiet continuous ringing noise. This appears to be coming from the rear luggage compartment (hatchback) on the passenger side. I have removed the fuse box cover but am not confident it is coming from there. I know sound travels but it definitely seems to be coming from that area. It does not get any louder with fuse box cover off. The sound is more or less continuous while running. When you switch off after a while it stops after some time.

Any ideas as to what it might be gratefully accepted.

Thanks for the suggestion but this is more like something in the electrics. It does it when the car is moving and also stationary and continues for a while after the engine has been turned off.
