Interior change!?

Featured Replies

Hi, would a set of mk3 seats fit in my mk2? If so, does it matter if they're coming from a 5dr to fit my 3dr and will the heated seat function work if I fit the relevant switches? Thanks!

i don't know if they would fit but if you put 5dr seats in a 3dr car you have no tilt on the front seats for rear passenger access (and I think that is a MOT failure, apart from being very inconvenient)

not an mot failure , secured in the upright position is all required.

apologies, I was wrong on the MOT aspect. I knew the catch had to work but I thought it meant to secure and unsecure it . But having re-read it, I agree it just mentions secured in the upright position

not much i dont know about mot regulations having done mots for quite a few years. lol

but do still have to refer to the manual sometimes.
