2003 focus

Hi i have a 2003 focus i got from a guy that idles at 2000 rpms, he said the idle was ok until he cleaned some parts of on the engine and he couldnt fix it. ive never or seen or had this problem before. I have 5 focuses the other 4 are ok, Ive used parts from one of the others to see if i could find the problem and no luck. does anyone have any ideas. I try the computer, idle air sensor and mass air sensor and it hasnt fixed the problem.
