Firmware update focus

Hello I have a 56 plate focus tdci 1.6 and I am updating my firmware as my car needs an update I was told 

 

I looked on the pcm firmware site and my current module and firmware is 7m51-12a650 ud 

 

Can I update it to 7m51-12a650 ug at the bottom of the box my firmware is in on picture 

 

My engine is 1.6 tdci focus dv6 110ps and module is edc16c34-2

 

I have no power to egr connector and it keeps saying it's stuck shut but it's fine I have cleaned it out and moves completely freely but tgere is no power to any pins on car

Also I have the oil problem in air flow pipe I have new pipe new oil cleaned all carbon out new injector seals although it still sounds a bit old diesel cat noise with tighting down so was told I had an update I could do 

Is it just a matter of downloading that file and them loading thst onto my car and put settings in how they are now 

 

I have the elmconfig not sure what version and I have the adapter 

 

Anyone please help if they can
